Bahamas Business centre provides its members with encrypted Pop3 offshore email accounts. All mailboxes have full anti-virus and spam protection facilities and are ready for immediate use. If you are using your own domain name, we can either provide you with the necessary information for changing over to our server or we will make the necessary changes on your behalf in order to get your mail delivered to your new server.
Accessibility
Bahamas Business Centre hosts email accounts accessible via a variety of methods including web based, WAP, POP3, BBC Terminal Server and desktop software clients such as Microsoft Outlook. The web base and terminal server enables you to easily access your mail from any computer anywhere in the world. As a member we will share with you how this is accomplished.
Email Security
All email traffic is transferred through an SSL encryption or HTTPs connections between customer's email software and our secure email servers. For maximum email security clients' messages content is covered by industry standard encryption algorithms and cannot be intercepted by ISP staff or other authorities.
Clients' email anonymity is ensured because sender's network information e.g. IP address and host name (the originating country and internet connections details), is not shown in the message headers. We give an additional, non-standard SMTP port for clients, which may be of use if client's ISP or company firewall blocks remote email account access.
The Bahamas does not recognize foreign subpoenas, search warrants or judgments. Your company assets, written communicated and documents are protected by the laws of the Bahamas when stored on the encrypted servers at the Bahamas Business Centre. With our technical expertise offered through our team of on-staff Certified Cisco Engineers, we give you the ability to focus your efforts on more important matters, rather then worrying about the "behind the scenes" work so often associated when providing your own email and web servers.
